Undergraduate Handbook
Magic goes off to college at Strixhaven: School of Mages. Join one of Strixhavenβs five colleges and get in where you fit in among the brightest young spell casters around. Prismari, Witherbloom, Lorehold, Quandrix, Silverquilβeach dual-colour college has its own unique personality and mechanics. Enrollment starts now. Which college will you choose?
DM's Notes: Strixhaven University is a collegiate university, but students need only choose their colleges in their second year; e.g. Harvard University's Houses: first year on a Central Campus, then spread out to different Colleges in their second year onwards... In their first year, freshers will live and study on the Central Campus; making Strixhaven University a unitary university with centralised teaching and associated colleges that carry out their own teaching. It's also mentioned that to graduate from Strixhaven University, the student must complete 4 years of study; i.e. the American tertiary education system.
Let’s start with a tour of the Central Campus, before the individual Colleges…

β οΈ SPOILERS for Strixhaven
Should the above #MoodBoard inspire Dungeon Masters to attempt to host a D&D campaign on Arcavios...
DM's Notes: In theory, Strixhaven can also be dropped into any campaign setting and be the pre-eminent magical school of the plane.
Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering are two different games, but that doesn’t mean their Multiverses can’t meet.
Plane Shift
The greatest minds in the multiverse meet at Strixhaven University. Professors convey fantastic secrets to eager students, and life on campus is frenetic. But danger lurks even here. Campus hijinks mix with mishaps and sinister plots, and itβs up to you to save the day.
Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos introduces the fantastical setting of Strixhaven University, drawn from the multiverse of Magic: The Gathering, and provides rules for creating characters who are students in one of its five colleges. Characters can explore the setting over the course of four adventures, which can be played together or on their own. Each adventure describes an academic year filled with scholarly pursuits, campus shenanigans, exciting friendships, hidden dangers, and perhaps even romance.
