The Ten Realms
The world was born from a seed, and that seed grew into the World Tree, and everything else grew from it. Its leaves were every color imaginable, and as its branches spread out, they became worlds themselves. And once there were ten strong branches, fruit grew on the branches, and those were the Cosmos monsters. The serpent was the firstborn, and he has been growing since before the beginning of time.

- Bretagard
- The human-dominated realm of Bretagard is a land of sprawling grasslands and a vast, ancient forest, surrounded by a perilous, storm-tossed sea.
- Axgard
- A realm of rugged peaks and rocky flatlands, Axgard is the home of the dwarves.
- Gnottvold
- Rolling hills and ancient mountains blanketed in thick forests form the home of the trolls.
- Immersturm
- A land of fire, demons, and constant warfare, Immersturm is bound in powerful runic wards that are not always effective at containing its demonic raiders.
- Istfell
- This mist-shrouded realm at the base of the World Tree is encased in an endless fog that mutes any hint of aurora light from above. Most go here after death, living the rest of eternity as spirits.
- Karfell
- The undead Draugr are the only remnant of an ancient and prosperous civilization, but their fortresses have crumbled into ice-covered ruins.
- Littjara
- The mysterious realm of lakes and pine forests is home to an equally enigmatic race of shapeshifters.
- Skemfar
- The shadowed forests of Skemfar are home to the races of elves, descended from ancient gods.
- Starnheim
- The lofty realm at the top of the World Tree is home to the winged Valkyries who claim the bravest warriors to dwell with them in eternal feasting.
- Surtland
- Snowy Surtland is a realm of constant geological turmoil inhabited by two races of fierce giants locked in a never-ending war.
