On 6 October, MoH switched from COVIDNOW to KKMNOW, joinly run with DoSM The 15th Malaysian general election took place on 19 November 2022. In December, the total number of cases exceeded 5,000,332.

It’s been two years since Malaysia started taking measures against the Pandemic. By the end of 2021, over 70% of the Malaysian population (94% of adults) has been vaccinated against COVID-19. Movement restrictions in Malaysia have ended. Next month, international borders will be reopened and masks no longer mandated in outdoor spaces (rule still applies for indoor and crowded spaces.)
It’s been a year since Malaysia started taking measures against the Pandemic. MCO 2.0 was reinstated in January 2021, which transitioned into a Conditional MCO (CMCO) in conjunction with the launch of the Malaysian National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme in March 2021.
